Daniel Goleman
Arguably the world’s most renowned psychologist who lectures frequently to professional groups and business audiences, Daniel Goleman’s work has set a new precedent among the leadership community. Author to numerous best-sellers, his 1995 book, Emotional Intelligence was on The New York Times bestseller list for a year-and-a-half, with more than 5 million copies in print worldwide in 30 languages.
Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence (EQ) concept argues that IQ, or conventional intelligence, is too narrow; that there are wider areas of EQ that dictate how successful we are. His principles have provided a radical new insight into assessing behaviours, management styles, attitudes, interpersonal skills and potential.
The Harvard Business Review called Emotional Intelligence:
“A revolutionary, paradigm-shattering idea – the kind of idea that does not just advance the conversation, but permanently alters it.”
John Kotter
Harvard Business School Professor John Kotter is widely regarded as the world’s foremost authority on change. He is the premier voice on how the best organisations actually “do” change.
His international bestseller Leading Change, which outlined an actionable, 8-step process for implementing successful transformations, has become the essential “change tool” for managers across the world.
BusinessWeek magazine rated Kotter the the number one leadership guru
in America based on a survey they conducted of 504 enterprises. His articles in the Harvard Business Review over the past twenty years have sold more reprints than any of the hundreds of distinguished authors who have written for that publication during the same time period. His books are in the top 1% of sales from Amazon.com.
